WHAT IS A FAGD?
The title of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry indicates your dentist has the highest level of training and expertise in the field of General Dentistry. Only about 10 percent of general dentists in the U.S. and Canada are given the award of AGD Fellow. You can rest assured that your dentist cares about knowing the latest techniques and best practices in dentistry. Your dentist practices these techniques in a classroom setting multiple times a year — not every dentist does this.
